ANNOUNCEMENT ON HECAS APPLICATION FOR JANUARY 2027 INTAKE FOR ACADEMIC SESSION 2026/2027 LOCAL HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS (HEIs), MINISTRY OF EDUCATION TUESDAY, 27 RABIULAWAL 1447H / 09 SEPTEMBER 2026M

HECAS application for January 2027 Intake for Academic Session 2026/2027 is OFFICIALLY CLOSED on Wednesday, 09^th September 2026 at 03:00 PM. Any applications, payment or appeals submitted after the closing date will not be entertained.

For applicants who wish to update their academic achievements after closing date of HECAS, such as transcripts/ certificates/ statements of result to the respective institution(s), may do so via email by stating full name, IC number, phone number and the name of program the applicant applied to:

The announcement of results will be made in early November 2026 through the Ministry of Education website and the media (newspapers, radio, and television). Applicants may then log into their HECAS account to check their results. Unsuccessful applicants who meet the minimum entry requirements set by local Higher Education Institutions (HEIs)-namely UBD, UNISSA, UTB and PB-may submit a Letter of Appeal directly to the respective HEIs for consideration. Applicants will have three (3) working days to submit their appeal letters.
