ANNOUNCEMENT ON HECAS APPLICATION FOR JULY/ AUGUST 2026 INTAKE FOR ACADEMIC SESSION 2026/2027 LOCAL HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS (HEIs) AND THE GOVERNMENT OVERSEAS SCHOLARSHIP UNDER THE DEPARTMENT OF SCHOLARSHIP MANAGEMENT, MINISTRY OF EDUCATION

HECAS application for July/ August 2026 Intake for Academic Session 2026/2027 is OFFICIALLY CLOSED on Saturday, 28^th February 2026 at 10:00 AM. Any applications or appeals submitted after the closing date will not be entertained.

If applicant did not receive your HECAS bill, please email ask.hecas@moe.gov.bn. Applicants are reminded that full payment must be completed no later than Sunday, 1^st March 2026 before midnight via BIBD Mobile Application for online transaction or OCBS Portal (https://ocbs.mofe.gov.bn/login) for debit/ credit card transaction. Payments received after this deadline will not be accepted and are strictly non‑refundable.

For applicants who wish to update their academic achievements after closing date of HECAS, such as transcripts/ certificates/ statements of result to the respective institution(s), may do so via email by stating full name, IC number, phone number and the name of program the applicant applied to:

The announcement of results will be made in early June 2026 through the Ministry of Education website and the media (newspapers, radio, and television). Applicants may then log into their HECAS account to check their results. Unsuccessful applicants who meet the minimum entry requirements set by local Higher Education Institutions (HEIs)-namely UBD, UNISSA, UTB and PB-may submit a Letter of Appeal directly to the respective HEIs for consideration. Applicants will have three (3) working days to submit their appeal letters.
