ANNOUNCEMENT ON HECAS APPLICATION RESULT FOR AUGUST 2026 INTAKE FOR ACADEMIC SESSION 2026/2027 TO PUBLIC HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS (HEIs)

BERAKAS - The result for HECAS application for August 2026 intake for Academic Session 2026/2027 to public Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), i.e. Universiti Brunei Darussalam, Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali, Universiti Teknologi Brunei and Politeknik Brunei will be released on Thursday, 28 May 2026 by 9.00 a.m. Applicants may login to their HECAS account to find out their application status in the HECAS portal at https://hecas.moe.gov.bn.

Successful applicants will receive their Offer Letter from the respective HEIs and the deadline to accept/ reject the offer is on Tuesday, 09 June 2026, jam 4.00 p.m. Applicant may accept or decline the offer via the designated platform or method as follows:

For unsuccessful applicants who meet the entry requirement set by HEIs and wish to appeal are to take note of the following:

• Applicants are given 3 working days to submit their appeal starting Saturday, 30 May 2026 to respective institution;

• The last day to send the Letter of Appeal and related documents to HEIs is on Wednesday, 03 June 2026 before 4:00 pm; and

• Applicants are advised to appeal and apply a different program from initial application.

Appeal and related documents (hardcopy or softcopy) must be submitted directly to the institutions according to the information given below:
