ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE HECAS APPLICATION RESULTS FOR THE JANUARY 2026 INTAKE FOR ACADEMIC SESSION 2025/2026 TO PUBLIC HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS (HEIs)

BERAKAS - The results of the HECAS application for the January 2026 intake for the Academic Session 2025/2026 to public Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), i.e. Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) and Politeknik Brunei (PB) will be released on Wednesday, 12 November 2025 by 9:00 a.m. Applicants may login to their HECAS account to find out their application status in the HECAS portal at https://hecas.moe.gov.bn/Applicant/. Accordingly, the respective HEIs will send out offer letters to successful applicants and the deadline to accept/reject the offer is on Saturday, 22 November 2025, by 4:00 p.m.

For unsuccessful applicants who meet the entry requirement set by HEIs and wish to appeal are to take note of the following:

Further information on appeal process is available in the HECAS website: https://hecas.moe.gov.bn.
Applicants are given 3 working days to submit their appeal starting Thursday, 13 November 2025 to respective institution;
The last day to send the Letter of Appeal and related documents to HEIs is on Monday, 17 November 2025 before 4:00 pm; and
Applicants are advised to appeal and apply a different program to the one initially applied.

Letter of Appeal and related documents (hardcopy or softcopy) must be submitted according to the information given by each institution as follows:

Applicants who wish to appeal must complete the Online Appeal Form.
To appeal, please ensure that you register and submit a completed PBAS form via https://pbas.pb.edu.bn if you have not already done so during the HECAS 2nd round application period in August/September 2025.
Appealing does not guarantee entry into Politeknik Brunei.
