ANNOUNCEMENT ON HECAS APPLICATION FOR JULY/ AUGUST 2026 INTAKE FOR ACADEMIC SESSION 2026/2027 LOCAL HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS (HEI) AND THE GOVERNMENT OVERSEAS SCHOLARSHIP UNDER THE DEPARTMENT OF SCHOLARSHIP MANAGEMENT, MINISTRY OF EDUCATION
HECAS application for July/ August 2026 Intake for Academic Session 2026/2027 will officially close on Thursday, 26 February 2026 at 11:45 AM. Any applications
or appeals submitted after the closing date will not be entertained.
Applicants are required to complete the following before the HECAS closing date:

Submit HECAS Online Form. |

Settle overdue payments upon HECAS registration. |

3 |
Fulfil requirements stated in the Institution Checklist. |
Applicants are reminded that full payment must be completed no later than Thursday, 26 February 2026 at 11:45 AM. Payments received after this deadline
will not be accepted and will be strictly non‑refundable. To avoid any issues, applicants must ensure all outstanding HECAS registration fees are settled either through the BIBD Mobile Application or by cash at the payment counter located at:

Cash payment at the nearest BIBD Branches with teller service in your district. |
As we approach the closing date, several public holidays will occur before the HECAS closing date. Please be advised that billing issuance requires two (2) working days, followed by an additional two (2) working days for payment to be update in your HECAS account. In view of these factors, we strongly encourage you to plan your timeline accordingly to avoid any delays that may affect the completion of your application.
